EV chargers
The main factors are the charger you choose, the cable run from your fuse board, and whether your consumer unit needs any work. We survey first and give you a fixed, no-obligation quote up front, so there are never any surprises.
Most home installations take three to four hours. Jobs that need a long cable run or a fuse board upgrade take a little longer, and we will always tell you in advance.
Yes, we handle the DNO notification for every charger we install, so you do not have to do anything. It is all part of the service.
We install leading smart chargers that work with every make of electric car. We will recommend the best option for your car, your home and your energy tariff.
Solar panels
Yes. Solar panels generate electricity from daylight rather than direct sunshine, so they work well in Welsh conditions and still produce power on overcast days.
A battery lets you store the power you generate during the day and use it in the evening, which usually increases your savings significantly. We will show you the numbers as part of your free design.
Savings depend on your roof, your usage and your tariff. We give every customer a clear estimate of annual savings and payback before they commit to anything.
Testing and certification
An EICR is an electrical installation condition report that confirms whether your wiring is safe. Landlords need one at least every five years, and homeowners are advised to have one every ten years or when buying a property.
It depends on the size of the property and the number of circuits. We confirm a fixed price with you before we book the visit, with no hidden extras.
If the report is unsatisfactory we explain exactly what needs doing, quote it clearly with no pressure, and can carry out the work so your property reaches a satisfactory result.
It depends on the equipment and environment. Many offices test annually, while higher-risk tools may need more frequent testing. We will advise the right interval for your business.
Commercial
